1-1 Tuition & Private Weaving Workshops with Ellie

1-1 weaving tuition and workshops take place at my home studio near Kings Somborne in Hampshire and have a maximum capacity of 4 people, with the exception of table weaving, which has a maximum of 2 people.           

1-1 weaving tuition and workshops can also take place at your home, or a suitable venue of your choice. The maximum capacity for these workshops varies with the type of weaving and the venue. Please see below for full details.

The options in the dropdown menus will give you an idea of price, however, if you'd like to book a block of three or more 1-1 sessions, we can offer you a 10% discount, and if you're further afield than 60 miles, please contact me for a quote.

Frame Loom Weaving Workshops - 3 or 6 hours

• Frame loom weaving workshops are available for up to 4 people at my home studio, and up to 10 people in a suitably sized venue of your choice.
• These workshops can be themed for all the different holidays, or tailored for stag, hen or sten do's.
• Though the 3 and 6 hour workshops have similar content, and both will teach you enough to be able to continue weaving at home, the 6 hour workshop allows us to cover many more weaving techniques, in more depth.

Table Loom Weaving - 3, 6 or 12 hours

Table loom weaving workshops are available for up to 2 people at my home studio, and up to 4 people in a suitably sized venue of your choice.

Taster session - 3 or 6 hours - The loom is set up ready for you to weave on. Suitable for those wishing to give weaving a go before committing to a full course. 

Dress the loom and weave - 6 hours - An introduction to table loom weaving covering all the basics, suitable for those wanting a quick introduction to table loom weaving, or those that need a refresher, this is quite a fast paced day as there is a lot to cover in six hours! Due to the intensity of this workshop, it is only available on a 1-1 basis.

Dress the loom and weave - 12 hours - Spread over two days, an in-depth introduction to table loom weaving covering everything from setting up the loom to following patterns, with a good chunk of time for learning about patterns and how to read them, weaving and experimenting with colour and pattern.

Inkle Loom Weaving - 6 hours

Inkle loom weaving workshops are available for up to 4 people at my home studio, and up to 8 people in a suitably sized venue of your choice.

These workshops can be themed for all the different holidays, or tailored for stag, hen or sten do's.

Off-Loom Weaving

Off-loom weaving workshops are available for up to 4 people at my home studio, and up to 10 people in a suitably sized venue of your choice.
